Illustration Boards are very versatile sturdy boards. This package contains an assortment of textures, both hot press and cold press. Cold pressed boards have a slightly textured surface and are great for watercolor, gouache, acrylic, caseins, tempera, pen-and-ink, charcoal, and pencil drawing. Hot pressed boards have a very smooth surface, perfect for pen-and-ink, mounting, transfers and acrylic washes. Both work great for collage and other altered art techniques. Coat them with gesso and oil paint on them! Illustration Boards are 14-ply (1.3 mm) thick. Inchies are packaged in a resealable bag for convenience and all packages contain a few extra pieces. Package of 100+ ready to use Inchies (1 inch by 1 inch squares).
