This is a 140 lb cold press watercolor paper; this cold press has a lightly textured surface. Not quite the top-of-the-line professional quality paper, but a decent, affordable paper for all levels of artists. This is a good, heavy paper that will happily take a soaking or will stand up well to other uses. Ideal for watercolors, it also works great for egg tempera, gouache, ink, acrylics and caseins. Coat it with gesso and use it for acrylics, oils and alkyds. It also works very well for drawing media, such as graphite, colored pencils, pastels, charcoal, chalks and crayons. Use it for mixed media, pyrography (woodburning or pokerwork) and collage. Acid free and pH neutral. Not suitable for stretching. 140 lb (297 gsm). Available in packages of 25 ready to use cards, perfectly sized for ATCs, ACEOs or Sketch Cards. (2-1/2 inches by 3-1/2 inches).
